"Bring all the tithes — the whole tenth of your income — into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." - Malachi 3:10 (Amplified Classic)
For the last couple of days, two words have been running around in my head: radical generosity. I've learned to pay attention when something repeats itself like that — when a phrase keeps showing up, that's usually God wanting to talk. So I sat down with Him, and what He showed me is genuinely shifting how I think. Here are three things He's teaching me about giving the way heaven gives.
Part 1 | Generosity Starts by Facing the Fear
If I'm honest, when I think about being radically generous — not just polite-tip generous, but radically generous — fear comes up. Something in me pulls back. There's a tightening that says "but what about the bank account?"
And that's exactly the place where I have to start. Because Jesus did not pay the price He paid so that fear could keep being the voice in my head about money. He broke the back of fear. He paid for my freedom — including the freedom to think about finances the way heaven does.
That's why I take communion over my giving. Not as a ritual, but as a reminder. Every time I bring my tithe, I bring my fear too, and I lay it down at the foot of the cross. Lord, You purchased my freedom from this. I'm walking in it.
Generosity always starts at the cross.

What if finding your tribe wasn't something you had to force? What if it was something you could actually ask God to do with you?

Whether you're believing for a healed relationship, a breakthrough in your business, or a dream that feels impossibly far away, I think this is going to give you something real and practical to hold onto.

Jesus knew that the enemy's greatest weapon isn't circumstances — it's the lies we agree with...
Part 2 | The Covenant Is a Legal Document
This one stopped me in my tracks. Malachi 3:10 says "prove Me now by it." I asked the Lord what He meant. I'd always been a bit cautious of that phrase — I never want to be irreverent with God.
And He said, "Lisa, you're not testing Me. You're presenting the agreement I made with you. You're activating the covenant."
That reframe is everything. It takes giving out of the realm of "how do I feel about this today?" and into the realm of "this is a legal promise God has put in place, and I am taking hold of what is mine."
When I give my tithe now, I do it like someone bringing forward a legal document. Lord, this is the covenant. I'm doing my part. I'm trusting You to do Yours. That posture changes everything — because suddenly I'm not striving or hoping. I'm trusting a binding promise from a faithful God.
Part 3 | Step Into Heaven's Economic System
Here's where it gets fun. When I give from this place of trust, I become like a farmer. I keep some — bread for the eater — and I sow some — seed for the sower. And then God does what only God can do.
He says "I will rebuke the devourer for your sake." He puts a hedge around what you steward. My computers last longer. My cars stay healthier. I literally pray this promise over the devices and possessions in my house — and I have watched God honour it again and again.
But the deepest shift isn't financial. It's mental. It's moving from "I only have this much, so I can only give this much" into "I get to be part of God's system of being a radical blessing to the world."
That mindset is freedom. That mindset is heaven on earth.
✨ Say “Yes” to God’s Invitation
Friend, Jesus is inviting you into something far bigger than a giving habit. He's inviting you into a whole new way of seeing — where you are both a receiver of His radical generosity and a radically generous giver through Him.
Will you accept the invitation? Will you let Him renew your mind on this? I promise you, He is so worth trusting. Bless you.
