Why You’re Perfectly Positioned for the Days We’re Living In

It seems like there’s a lot to worry about right now, doesn’t it?
If you live in the U.S., there’s talk of a government shutdown.
Parents are concerned about what our youth and children are facing in today’s culture.
And the rise of AI brings with it so many questions—about job security, creativity, and what the future will look like.

But as I was talking with the Lord about all of this recently, He gently reminded me of something powerful: He’s not as worried as we are.

He led me to Esther 4:14 (AMP):

“For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise for the Jews from another place… and who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion.”

1 | 💛 I've Got You

As I read that verse, I could almost hear Him whisper:
“Lisa, I know exactly who is on the earth right now—who’s a baby, who’s a teenager, who’s middle-aged, who’s elderly.

I know what era you live in, what skills you have, what passions stir in your heart. You are here, now, on purpose—for such a time as this.”

That truth completely shifted my perspective.

2 | 🌱 New Lenses

We don’t have to be worried about what’s happening in government.
We don’t have to be afraid of what our kids will face.
We don’t have to feel threatened by technology or cultural change.

Instead, God created you and me to be the very ones who bring His wisdom, peace, and answers into these exact situations.

You were born for this moment in history—fit for purpose, hand-crafted by God for the world as it is right now.

So, rather than giving in to anxiety, we can boldly come before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) and ask for His help.

We can cry out with Jeremiah 33:3—“Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

We can listen as Wisdom calls out to us in Proverbs 8, offering Heaven’s perspective on today’s challenges.

3 | 🌸 This Is What...

This is what it means to live as more than a conqueror through Christ who loves us.

This is what it looks like to walk in the truth that we are the head and not the tail.

This is how we GET to posture ourselves as we face everything in life - confident in the Truth that we are exactly where we're supposed to be - right here, right now, equipped and called by Heaven to be about our Father's business.

✨ Say “Yes” to God’s Invitation

So my friend, if you’ve been tempted to worry—about politics, the economy, your kids, or the future—pause for a moment.

Ask the Lord, “Father, what did You create me to do in this time? What part do I get to play in Your story right now?”

Then listen.

Agree with His plans.

And say, “Lord, Your kingdom come, Your will be done—on earth, through me, as it is in Heaven.”

You are light in a dark world.
You are the city on a hill Jesus talked about in Matthew 5:16.
And as you shine, others will see your good works and give glory to your Father in Heaven.

So go—shine your light today. You were made for such a time as this. 🌟
