“Lisa, I want to break your reliance on your bank account balance, and fix your reliance on Me instead”

As I let that slowly sink in I realized that some of the biggest ‘complaints’ I had towards God, were actually MY own stinkin’ thinkin’ about what His provision looks like.

I remember saying to Him one day how unfair it is that the wealthy can afford to be healthy, housed and fed - while many of the poor can’t.

And what He said next just filled me with His wisdom and understanding about the difference between the earth’s way of doing things vs His Kingdom way.

You see, God is someone who gives us ALL equal opportunities

To be saved,

To be loved and

To be provided for.

He has ALL that we need in order to do what He has for us to do. The problem is that we don’t access it.

Sometimes because we simply don’t know how.

Sometimes because we don’t believe that he is that good.

Sometimes just because we have more faith in what we know, than in what He’s offering.
